We are Bill, Deb and Deliliah. We are both in our early 70s. Our mission for our videos is to show people that full-time living in an RV or Tiny House on wheels is possible. Our cargo trailer conversion (tiny house) resembles a luxury apartment on wheels. We have actually converted 2 cargo trailers, once on a 7 x 16 then our current one 8 x 20. We meet and interview (walk thru videos) lots of other people in cargo conversion, vans, school buses and RVs, that they have converted or updated to make life easier for them. We show how we handle campground reservations, handling fresh and grey water, our solar experiences, breakdowns, required maintenance on our trailer and tow vehicle. We do campground reviews to share the location and beauty of each one. We try and stay mostly at COE campgrounds, this way we get to take advantage of our America the Beautiful Senior Pass. We honestly believe that this lifestyle will lengthen our lives and has definitely improved our quality of life.

Big Spring Campground Part Of The Ozark National Scenic Riverways

This Campground/Recreation area is an absolute gem. We wish we could have spent more time there in our Cargo Trailer Conversion. Recent storms had created issues with the power grid, but fortunately our solar panels and lithium iron phosphate battery bank kept us going until we were asked to leave due to concerns over possible water contamination.

Great video! I’ve enjoyed watching John’s videos on his trailer build and motorcycle adventures on his UA-cam channel.
Nice build! What vehicle do you pull your trailer with?
Nice.😊
Thank you Bill for coming by and taking the time to feature my build, I appreciate it.
It was my pleasure John.
Very nicely done
Nice setup. I am interested in the bed motor, where did you get it, how many watts, is it 12 volt, picture of the nameplate please. I first bought a 30 watt, too light l, now I have a 60 watt, it is much better, I don't want to use an official tarp motor, 600 or 900 watts is a lot of draw. Thank you for showing your rig!
Very nice set up.
Really nice rig John! Great tour Bill!
tnx
Man, the exterior look the interior look John’s trailer is one awesome cargo trailer conversion great videography bill
I Like it...... I'd like a lil more countertop and a sink.......... what type of shower pan did you use?
I don’t do motorcycles, so not my thing…but man o man this rig is incredible for anyone that does! It is as simple as you can get but it brings on all the comforts and power you could want. Such a clean, well thought out, and crazy usable build. Thank you for sharing it with us.
I'm just wondering why the compost toilet can't live in the shower, then the inlet for the heat can stay in it's spot..
The toilet is mounted on wheels that allow me to just pull it out and in position, it is also hooked up to a power source and exhaust fan with an exhaust vent tube that takes any odors outside.
Hey John what a great surprise. I literally got my lift bed idea from your youtube build series. It works amazing. Nice to see you out there using your conversion.
Glad you were able to use the idea in your rig.
Great❤
Loved his trailer! H did such a fantastic job!! Well done. The ceiling is beautiful too.
Where do you get a lift kit for the axles?
E trailer.
@@johntalbert8227 thank you.
Very very nice build!!
Impressive!!! No such thing as too much solar power!
Hi John!! Our neighbor. 😊 The best neighbor ever!! Hi Bill and Deb!
Hi guys, did you hear me sneak out at 4:30 am? Nice meeting you guys.
@@johntalbert8227 no, not at all. We had a raccoon wake us up the day after, though. Bernie thought someone was attacking the trailer. I threw some bread in that bag Bernie had hanging from the ramp. They were on the roof too. Startled the daylights out of him. 😂
Beautifully done, in progress, conversion. Great craftsmanship!
Beautiful! Amazing. Wonder how they get that slide inside?
Wonderful job building out your camper, love it!
Kinda tossed in some views of NOT Calico. By my house. Been at these places many times.
Most entertaining! A unique and functional travel cabin. Innovative, charming!
I drive for a RV Transport company delivering brand new RV travel trailers and RV 5th Wheel trailers (more than a hundred of each). For those who think the converted cargo trailers are not up to the quality of the factory built units, you could not be more wrong! Factory built units are built with the cheapest materials in the shortest time to be able to make the most profit on each unit. EVERY SINGLE unit i tow out to the dealerships on the maiden voyage has some issues or damage from poor workmanship or poor quality materials used that the dealers spend 30 to 90 minutes looking over each trailer when I arrive to catalog and document in order to charge the repairs and replacement parts back to the manufacturer. I have had siding peeling off on the highway, windows imploding when semi trucks pass, wiring and electrical issues, TVs laying on the floor broken, trim, wallboard, and doors coming apart...all on the very first trip! When family and friends ask what trailer I would buy, I ALWAYS tell them, I would have an all aluminum cargo trailer built for me and convert it to what I want. This means I get to decide the layout, I get to build it to the quality level I want, I get to use the materials I want, and I know every inch of construction. In addition, I get to design it for ease of maintenance and repair. The factory trailers built during the pandemic were TERRIBLE because they tried to speed up production and (as we all recall) there were shortages of many materials so even worse materials were used. The build quality has improved in the past two years, the materials have improved but only slightly, but I would still NOT buy a factory unit. They are just not good enough for my hard earned money.
Absolutely appreciate you both and your contribution to this community! I am new to it and working on my trailer conversion as I type this. I would like to know if you would humor me by considering something outside the box, unconventional installation of a Mini-Split. I have seen one other gent who did this for his mother inside a Sprinter type van, don't recall the make, could have been a ProMaster or Ford, but either way, the installation entails creating a dedicated and well vented box inside the back door of their van. This led me to explore the dedicated box, well ventilated, in the V-Nose of my 20' trailer. My direction is to project stealth as possible all the way to shore port being mounted on the lower part of the tongue, few to no visible vents, water port, etc, all either beneath or small and non descript. Your thoughts on this might offer me some objections that I've not considered. I do have a friend that has offered a few things to consider on fresh air in and the heat out aspect ratio. Thanks again and maybe one day, we'll cross paths when I'm out there on my next chapter.
Loved this trailer and the bed design is awesome. Would love to get more information on how the bed was built.

Great videos as always and definitely have gotten some ideas from the various trailers you have shown. Currently have had a 5x10 CTC for several years and looking at getting a bigger trailer as I've upgraded to my Nissan Armada now. Personally I feel the Cargo Trailers are they way to go as you can make them "Yours" not someone else's cookie cutter design. Also I personally feel cargo trailers on average are built to last longer then a camper trailer. If interested heres a link to my current trailer ua-cam.com/video/xIJ-sKHbRPg/v-deo.html Thanks for the great information and keep living life they way you do.
Nice build. Clever shower curtain...I thought it was a door.
BEAUTIFUL!
Hi @billanddeb, I'm a new subscriber because I am so impressed with your walk-through videos. It's wonderful to see the intelligence, creativity, passion and craftsman/womanship that is put into each build-out. The comment at 2:55 seems a bit rude - but inspired me to share my opposite observation. It's been educational and fun viewing many lovely, unique designs in your walk-through videos. Great to see such a variety and not just another cookie-cutter r.v. that will surely not last as long as some custom-builds. As much as I appreciate the look of a certain aluminum r.v. brand, I much prefer what you and others are doing to customize cargo trailers. Thank you both for a wonderful channel, gratitude to everyone who shared their builds with you - safe and happy travels to you all!
Thanks for watching and the compliments
Very sweet customizations, tailored to their needs! Very nice. Thanks for showing!
Thanks for watching
Campers last years, Cargo conversions last decades. Nothing else needs to be said.
Absolutely gorgeous !!!!
I really like the slide out bed I think I’m going to use that
Yes a fantastic job
Awesome build beats a factory made caravan trailor hands down. 💙
Very nice!
looks like a nice grill
Great video Bill !! Robert from Ohio !
Thank you
Like the bed, very clever, also the simple cabinet locks, I need to find a set of those! Thanks for the walk through!!
Thank you for watching
Nice...but a lot of added weight. I need mine to stay below 3,000 gvwr
That's the beauty of building your own.
That is a lot of boat for under 300 bucks. It seems like you are expecting customer service like it is a high-end product when you bought a no name Chinese knockoff. The seat wasn't originally defective but I guess it failed over time. If it was me I probably would have just patched it and moved on.
It was brand new. First time out. Didn't happen over time.
Come back to our neck of the woods! and bring that guitar! ..... you guys look like ya doing good---
Love the simplicity of this trailer. Great job.
Very nice. ❤
Do you have any videos on how you built your bed?
Sorry, I didn't make a video. I could probably make one if several people want one
@@RobinClark-uu7zq we are wanting to do a bed style like this and haven’t seen any others like it.
@@RobinClark-uu7zq a video would be awesome. We're starting to build a cargo trailor and that design is perfect.
That's awesome, will see what we can do 😃
Simple and that’s important
Nice conversion 👍
I LOVE the walk thru videos .......
Very creative and functional. Thank you Chase and Robin for sharing your build and your adventure! Happy trails for you!
Thank you very much
Great build. It was simple and livable. The craftsmanship was awesome.
